The Psychology Tutoring Academy is led by Rebecca Langford.

She has over five years of experience tutoring psychology and is currently an A-Level Psychology teacher at Brighton College, currently named 'School of the Decade'. In addition to classroom teaching, she has worked as an Oxbridge and private tuition manager for an international tutoring company, as a freelance educational consultant, and as a research and evaluation intern for OFSTED in their Westminster offices.
The Psychology Tutoring Academy was founded with the aim of providing high-quality psychology education. Teaching is structured, rigorous and adaptable, with lessons tailored to suit different learning styles and a strong focus on exam preparation.
Rebecca offers individual tutoring, small group lessons for 2–6 students, and affordable holiday workshops. Through clear teaching and consistent support, students develop confidence in psychology and are supported to achieve strong academic outcomes.
Individual AQA Psychology tutoring is available on both a short-term and long-term basis, alongside small group sessions for 2–6 students and large-scale holiday workshops focused on more challenging topics. Oxbridge-specific mentoring is also available. Choose the option that works best for you!

While it is entirely your choice, I highly recommend having your camera on. Seeing each other allows for clearer communication, more engaging interaction, and better understanding through visual cues. It also helps me tailor explanations to your reactions, ensuring a more effective learning experience.
Homework is optional, but I strongly encourage it to maximise your progress and value from tutoring. Completing tasks like essays, practice questions, or flashcards allows us to use our next session for targeted feedback and active learning. Ultimately, we’ll agree on a workload that’s manageable for you and aligned with your goals.
Yes, I offer tutoring throughout the year. There may be a couple of weeks when I’m away, but I’ll always let you know well in advance so we can plan around it.
